Document Expiry

Tags:

While uploading a document in Zoho Viewer, you can optionally set the time period after which the document has to be deleted from our servers. If you set the expiry time as 1 day, the document will be deleted from our servers after 1 day and it won't be available on that URL. The URL will not be reused for future documents too. You can also set the document not to expire at all.

You can check a document's expiry time by clicking on the Info link at the top. Refer the image below.

If you want to get your document deleted immediately, you can get in touch with us by sending an email to support at zohoviewer dot com.

Note: For documents uploaded prior to this update (that is on or before February 26, 2008 PST), the default expiry time is set to 3 months from the date of the update. If they are accessed atleast once within these 3 months, they will automatically be made permanent and won't expire. Else, they will be automatically deleted within 3 months of the update.

It would be better if you had given more options in the “expire-date”.

Also, the expiry option can be made as a date picker.

Otherwise the feature is great and anyone using it will benefit from the option...

You could create a option to "Enter a URL or select a file from your Desktop" each a automatic period of time. ex. Each 5 minutes the zoho dowload the same file. It is good for display to others peoples a file that change everytime. jairceschini@gmail.com (Brasil)
